Donation protected
UPDATE:
Today marks (40) Days at IU Methodist Hospital in Indiana. Roger is a True Warrior and is still fighting this battle one day at a time. God has Truly Blessed us with all of you and brings tears to my eyes to see how much love and support is pouring in for us. We are beyond Grateful for all the Surprise Hospital Visits, Special Deliveries, Get Well Cards as we have filled every inch of this hospital room. I am truly Speechless for all the donations pouring in since our friends started the GoFundMe for Roger. It has been so emotional to see and we are beyond Grateful for all of you and feel so blessed to be loved by so many of you.
Please join me in prayer, May this week be filled with Breakthroughs & Answered Prayers. Roger is getting stronger each day and praying Monday he will be transferred to an Acute Rehab Hospital for a few weeks of rehab. We are counting down the days of coming home,
Love Roger & Stephanie

Update: We want to thank everybody so much for your support and prayers for Roger and Stephanie!
Roger is still recovering in the trauma center having ups and downs and looking at a long road a head of him with physical therapy and possibly being in a facility to support his needs in recovery. We are still unsure how long Roger will have to be in Indianapolis. We pray for speedy recovery!
Again, your prayers and your support have been amazing! Our prayers are still that Roger can overcome this obstacle that has been put in front of him and for him and Stephanie to return to Florida soon where they can move forward. Blessings to all.

Roger and Stephanie have had a crazy 30 days. They went to visit his brother in Indiana for his nephew's graduation. He went to the bathroom passed out and fell. The fall caused him to fracture his C4 Vertebrae and break a few ribs. He was rushed to the hospital but once they realized the extent of his injuries they transferred him to a trauma hospital. He tested positive for covid. A lot was going on the day he was transferred to the trauma hospital. Roger was complaining of pain and the hospital gave him meds and he coded. They got him back but there was some backlash from it. They ran more tests and found out he had 3 strokes which was the cause of all the issues. He had surgery on his neck to repair the C4 fracture (spine infusion, 2 rods). He was ok for a few days then his oxygen level was low so they decided to put a ventilator in. A few days went by and he was a little better so they removed the vent, but unfortunately, the following week they had to put the ventilator back in. He was not breathing right. Again he got a little better and again removed the ventilator. Again his throat was swelling but they could not put the vent back in.. so he had surgery again for a Tracheotomy and a feeding tube placed. Roger also cannot talk at this time. He is working on that with physical therapy. Once Roger is released from the hospital he will need to stay in Indiana for at least a month so that he can continue to see the doctors until they release him to come back to Florida. Prayers, Prayers, Prayers Please!
Roger and Stephanie have a long road ahead of them. They both have jobs but without working one or both of them do not get paid. The next 2 months will continue to be a struggle but praying for steps forward to getting back home in Tampa. Please Pray for Roger and Stephanie! Anything that you can bless them with will help. They need all the help they can get.
