We are reaching out in faith, love, and humility on behalf of our brother, Pierre, who is facing an incredibly difficult and unexpected health battle. Pierre has lived with diabetes for many years, and over time, complications from diabetes and high blood pressure have led to stage 5 kidney disease.

In mid-January, he was hospitalized after suffering a severe headache and dehydration. His condition quickly worsened, and he had to begin emergency dialysis. Just four days later, while still in the hospital, Pierre experienced a stroke.

In the confusion and effects following the stroke, Pierre was not fully aware of his surroundings. As he tried to get out of bed on his own, he fell something he was already at risk for due to the stroke and tragically broke his ankle. This added yet another painful setback to an already overwhelming situation.

Pierre is now fighting to recover from the stroke and ankle injury while continuing dialysis treatments, which have become a regular part of his life. Our family is standing firm in faith, trusting God for healing, strength, and, in time, a kidney donor who can help restore Pierre’s health and quality of life.
