Prayers and Support for Paxton's Healing

Donation protected
4/8/25 Today marks 5 weeks since the accident that left Paxton with a grade 3 TBI. We have been in inpatient rehab at Scottish Rite for 2 weeks. Paxton has made wonderful progress and everyday God shows us something new that Paxton is overcoming. Our plan is to be inpatient for a few more weeks then transfer to outpatient Rehab. The journey is long, Paxton is still learning all the things we take for granted. The therapists and doctors say it will take about one year to reach Paxton’s potential. And we believe and claim God will show us a miracle in our Pax!! Lots of therapies to come and we are all here to make sure he gets the best of the best. Thank you all for giving to help Pax and his mama. Abigail has not returned to work yet but hopes to come back part time in a few weeks. Your prayers and words of encouragement are very much appreciated and felt. Please keep them coming!!! If you want to follow along, find Paxton’s Journey on facebook. God bless each of you!!

3/23 Update
Tomorrow brings us to 21 days since the accident that left Paxton with a Traumatic Brain Injury. First, we are very thankful to the Lord for sparing Paxton’s life and giving him a fighting chance! After 4 days on the ventilator our hero came off, breathing like a champ! We spent another two weeks resting and healing and figuring out what was the next step in recovery! CHOA’s Scottish Rite facility was where we wanted and needed to be! And here we are going on day 3 of our inpatient rehab program in their Comprehensive Inpatient rehab Unit (CIRU). Paxton has a very long road to recovery! He is like a newborn baby learning everything! God is showing us small, encouraging signs that Paxton is in there so we are fighting hard for him! The prayers and support from around the world are humbling and lift us up in all the hard moments. Please continue to pray for Paxton. Also, follow his journey on fb at Paxton’s Journey and IG paxtonsjourney4. Our oldest daughter has put these all together for all the people who love Pax!

Please keep praying

Family and friends,
On Monday, March 3rd Paxton was returning home from baseball practice with his Pepere and his cousin Spencer. They were involved in an automobile accident and Paxton was life flighted to Greenville Memorial Hospital with a Traumatic Brain Injury! His Pepere and cousin were not seriously injured and only had some bruising and soreness. Pax is currently sedated and on the ventilator while his body rests. It is hoped that he will be off the sedation and ventilator soon. While there are a lot of unknowns about his recovery until he is awake, we are preparing for physical and occupational therapy and maybe other therapies if needed to help him return to 100% and we are claiming that God will restore him to 100% of the happy go lucky, funny, sports loving, sweet boy we know and love so much. We are from a small town in northeast Georgia and will most likely have to travel to Atlanta or surrounding areas for the best therapies offered. Pax lives with his mommy and has a very loving and supportive family! Any contributions to help Pax and his mommy on this journey are deeply appreciated. Most of all and above everything, we covet your prayers. We have felt every prayer spoken over Paxton and our family. They have strengthened our faith and blessed us greatly.
Everyone who knows this precious family has reached out to me and ask how could they help? While prayers and the outpouring of love and support is so needed I feel there will be a considerable need for financial assistance for Paxton’s medical expenses. Any amount you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.
