Prayers and Support For Our Sadie Grace's NICU Journey

My cousin Marisol welcomed her beautiful, feisty fighter baby girl, Sadie Grace, on January 16, 2025, at just 23 weeks gestation, weighing 1 lb 8 oz. Sadie and her incredible parents are now embarking on a tremendous journey.

Marisol was admitted to Winnie Palmer Hospital after a routine ultrasound revealed complications due to an incompetent cervix. Despite the doctors’ efforts to prolong her pregnancy, complications persisted, and Marisol ultimately had to undergo an emergency C-section.

Sadie Grace is currently in the NICU at Winnie Palmer Children’s Hospital and is expected to remain there for several weeks, possibly months. From the moment she was born, it was clear to all of us that this tiny baby girl is a fierce fighter. Her big brother, Silas, has been anxiously waiting for his mom to come home and is eagerly anticipating the day his sister can join them.

As a family, we are rallying together to support Marisol, Jason, Silas, and Sadie during this joyous yet challenging time. We are now reaching out for help. Most importantly, we ask for your continuous prayers for the Toledo family. Additionally, we kindly ask that you consider making a monetary donation to ease the financial burden they are facing due to time off work and the many expenses they are incurring.

Sadie Grace is receiving exceptional care at an amazing hospital with an outstanding NICU team. However, the hospital is located an hour from their home. Our hope is to relieve this wonderful family of the financial strain of medical bills, food, gas, and other expenses so they can focus on spending time together and supporting Sadie until they are able to bring her home.
