We are reaching out to our community today with humble hearts, seeking your prayers and support as our family navigates a challenging season. Recently, our household has undergone significant changes; we were blessed to recently gain custody of my husband’s children, including my son who has special needs and requires full-time, hands-on care at home. While we are overjoyed to have our family together, this transition has coincided with a difficult health trial.

My husband is currently battling diabetic ulcers on his feet, a painful condition that has severely limited his ability to work and provide for our growing household. While I am dedicated to caring for our son and managing our home, the loss of consistent income has left us facing an urgent gap in our ability to cover basic necessities like rent and utilities.

We have already taken steps toward long-term stability by applying for SSI and public assistance, but as many of you know, these programs take significant time to process. We are seeking $4,000 to help bridge the gap and keep our home secure while my husband heals and our benefits are finalized.
