A message from Oneka's Father, Lacell Parnell (AKA Mr. Handsome):

My daughter, Oneka Parnell also known as Latoya, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. What started as concerning symptoms led her to the hospital, where doctors discovered a rapidly growing mass inside her body. A biopsy confirmed it was malignant, and from January to March, the cancer had already progressed, spreading aggressively to multiple organs, including her kidneys. After meeting with the doctors today (04/07/2026), they have confirmed that the cancer has extended to all her organs and there is nothing more they can do. Surgery is no longer an option as the doctors believe she would not make it. Although she is still in the hospital, they are now only providing comfort care.

On top of our families’ fear and uncertainty, we are now facing devastating medical bills. We have already received bills from the hospital totaling over $400,000JMD, which continues to increase each day.

Oneka is fighting hard, but she is not in good condition right now. We are doing everything we can to provide for her needs as much as possible. We are asking you all to pray for God’s strength over my daughter and our family, as we are devastated and heartbroken. Also, any amount you can donate would be greatly appreciated.
