Hello everyone, my name is Torri. I am setting this GoFundMe up for my best friend Stephanie and her family.
Update: Thank you to all that have donated so far! As I started off with the goal of $5,500, I have now updated the goal to $20,000. With the family not being able to work and bills coming, it hard to pay with no income. Here is a message from Stephanie and her family they would like to share.
Our 11-year-old son is currently fighting for his life. He has Cardiofaciocutaneous (CFC) syndrome and was recently life-flighted from Pensacola to Orlando. We have been in several hospitals for nearly three weeks now. He is currently in the ICU under the care of multiple specialists while they try to determine what’s causing severe complications, including critically low blood counts, fluid around his heart, pneumonia, and other serious issues. It's been a roller coaster and we've come close to losing him several times.
Being away from home for weeks has been overwhelming for our family of 6. We never imagined we’d be in this position, but we’re trying to stay by his side every moment we can.
If you felt led to help or share our GoFundMe with friends and family it would mean more to our family than words can express. We wanted to reach out to all of our friends for prayers for Nathaniel, as he has been in the hospital fighting for his life this whole time and could use all the support we can get.
These last weeks are taking a tremendous emotional and financial toll on us not being able to work, and also sustaining a considerable amount of extra costs. We would greatly appreciate anyone that has the means to help or simply share the GoFundMe would mean the world to us.
Thank you so much,
The Hogan Family
Again thank you for all that has helped and been praying for this sweet boy, Nathaniel and his family. This means everything to them.
Just recently, their son Nathaniel has been in the hospital for about 2 weeks. Nathaniel is not doing very well. He was born with a condition called Cardio-Facio-Cutaneous Syndrome, also known as CFC Syndrome. This sweet boy is 11 years old and he, along with his family, could use all the prayers right now. He was transferred to Orlando, FL on Saturday very early in the morning. (They live in Florida!) Nathaniel has had a lot of platelet transfusions to try to help get them to where they are supposed to be. Nathaniel has had neurological changes as well.
Stephanie is staying at the hospital with Nathaniel while the rest of the family is staying in a hotel. The Ronald McDonald House is full, so they have to pay for the hotel and for food for them to eat. If you could please say extra prayers for them and help them out, that would be great. Stephanie and her family have touched so many people in their lives, it's time for all to give back to them. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. This means a lot to me and will mean even more to them!!!
