My 73-year-old father is currently fighting a serious medical battle, and I am doing everything I can to get him the care he desperately needs.
Tuesday, he went to urgent care, where they found his white blood cell count was dangerously high. They immediately sent him to the ER. Unfortunately, after they decided to admit him, he left AMA.
Today, we went straight to Falmouth Hospital, and from the second we walked in, the staff was absolutely phenomenal. There was zero wait — likely because his blood pressure was dangerously low at 70/41. The nurses and doctors there treated him with such kindness, compassion, and urgency. I am forever grateful to everyone who recommended Falmouth ER.
After stabilizing him, they decided to transfer him to Beth Israel in Boston for further evaluation and treatment.
Through all of this, my dad has remained strong, but the road ahead will be long. He is not a “social media guy,” but I know he will be deeply touched by the love and support when he gets a chance to see it.
I’m asking for help — whether through donations, shares, or prayers — to support his ongoing medical care - travel costs, and parking garage is $10 an hour, and the time I will need to take away from work to be by his side. Literally anything helps and I’m so grateful.

From the bottom of my heart: thank you to everyone who has reached out. Please keep my dad in your thoughts and prayers. I love you so much, Dad. ❤️
