Dear Friends & Family,

Please bear with us as we have never written a medical GoFundMe letter before. We want to tell you about our precious niece Kylie. Kylie is 24 years old and truly one of the sweetest, kindest, most faith filled young women you could ever hope to meet. She married her wonderful husband Jonathan in August 2024. Jonathan is a worship ministry intern at a local church. Kylie & Jonathan both have hearts of servants and a hard work ethic.

On Saturday, January 18th, 2026 Jonathan rushed Kylie to the hospital with severe abdominal pain and nausea. Kylie has had a team of doctors over the past days as an in-patient. She has had blood work, antibiotics, an MRI, a CAT Scan, and other tests but still remains a puzzle to the doctors after 9 days in the hospital. The Internist, Oncologist, and surgeon have all repeated that Kylie is a “complex case” and a “mystery”. It was finally determined that she would be transferred to Northwestern Hospital in Chicago. Today, after 3 separate ambulance rides (don’t ask), Kylie has arrived at Northwestern where they are doing further evaluation.

We do not know the definite prognosis, how long she, Jonathan & her family will be in Chicago at Northwestern or where this will lead. We do know however that healthcare, hospitalization, ambulance transport, food, and lodging away from home are expensive. We are broken hearted watching our niece & nephew-in-law be stressed and worried about how they will pay for all of this when they have far greater issues to worry about right now. We do not want to collect one dime more than what is needed for medical expenses and will suspend this Go Fund Me when that is reached. Any amount will help and we know that they would gladly help if it were anyone else.
