We are a family that absolutely hates to ask for help. But if I've learned anything this year, it's that sometimes we all need help.

John injured his back at work in March of '25. The doctor thought his back would heal on its own eventually, so he got a cortisone shot and dealt with the pain when that wore off. At his last appointment earlier this month, his doctor now says that if he doesn't get surgery, John risks permanent damage to his spine. John has stubbornly worked through the pain and will continue to do so if he knows we don't have money to pay bills while he is recovering 8 weeks after surgery. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia earlier this year after 2 years of health problems and am unable to work full-time. I do work part-time but also manage the children and the farm. So I am not much help in the finance department. John does qualify for some missed wages through worker's comp, but it isn't nearly what he usually makes to cover the bills.

I know times are hard for everyone and I'm only asking because John deserves to not hurt and I don't know how else to help him. He is always willing to help out anyone. If you can't give financially, we appreciate prayers too! Thank you for reading this and God bless!
