Hi everyone, today I’m asking for your help to raise funds for my brother.

It all started with a routine blood test. Shortly after, my brother was told to go straight to the ER because his platelet count was at 1 — a level the doctors said they had almost never seen before. After running many tests, everything came back “normal,” and they couldn’t find a clear cause. He was released once his platelets went up slightly.

Not long after, he began feeling very sick again and had to return to the ER. This time, both his blood levels and platelets were dangerously low. For the first time in his life, he needed blood transfusions.

Doctors ran more tests, including a second bone marrow biopsy, but again, no clear answers. They can only tell us what they think it might be. Now, they are recommending chemotherapy as the next step in hopes of treating whatever is causing his bone marrow to stop producing healthy blood cells.

This has been incredibly scary and overwhelming for our family. We are asking for help to cover medical expenses, treatments, and the time he will need away from work while fighting this battle.
