Prayers and support for Jennifer Grant and her family

The Grant family had their world turned upside down last week when Jennifer went to the hospital with a stomach illness and a headache that quickly turned into a life altering event. Jennifer suffered a massive stroke that required emergency brain surgery.

Through the power of prayer and the work of some amazing doctors and staff at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California, Jennifer not only survived her surgery, but she is making an incredible recovery so far.

Jenn isn't out of the woods yet. There are still concerns about additional setbacks and her pathway forward is complicated. She is off the ventilator and somehow is already talking, but she will remain in the ICU at UC Davis for a month or more, followed by many months of rehab before she leaves the hospital.

Kenny has been by her side through this entire ordeal and friends and family have stepped forward to care for Carter in an incredibly emotional time. Prayers have worked magic so far, but the Grant family is going to need additional help.

The recovery from an event of this magnitude will require that Kenny and the rest of the Grant family shift their focus almost entirely towards Jennifer's recovery and the care of Carter.

Jennifer is widely known and loved throughout the Elk Grove community. She is one of those people who gives tirelessly to those around her, as seen by her work with the Elk Grove High School Football program, and she is a fixture at LifePointe Christian Church in Elk Grove.

Jenn and her family need your support emotionally through prayer and, if possible, financially as she battles through this health crisis.
