Prayers and Support for Jason's ICU Recovery

My name is Danielle Cleeves I really hate asking for help but sometimes it's necessary I'm opening this on behalf of my husband Jason for medical expenses and bills that are going to pile up while he's in the ICU. I'm not able to go back full time yet as I need to be there for my husband . It's beyond stressful whats going on and I don't want to have to worry about finances too. It's almost Christmas. He has a 14 year old daughter and I have too teenagers as well. My son is supposed to ship out jan 5th for the army . He's trying to change the date to stay home with all that's going on.
Jason has been in the ICU for 14 days now. He got what we thought was the flu December 3rd he fell December 5 th and landed over the bathtub I tried to take him in but he didn't want to to go. On December 7 th I called an ambulance because it took a bad turn. He was rushed to memorial in owosso where internal bleeding was discovered. He also had hematomas on his intestines, gall bladder and spleen. Owosso called Hurley in Flint because they don't do vascular. He was given a small blood transfusion and was ok. We headed to Flint. When we arrived we received a call from memorial saying things took a turn he was given another transfusion and a breathing tube and he was being life flighted to Hurley. He was rushed right to surgery which took 4 hours. He's broke a vessel in his belly when he fell and had 2 liters of blood in his abdomen. They had to remove two feet of dead intestine . They stopped the bleeding he'd had four transfusions . Prognosis was good. They left part of the wound open in case anything went wrong so he was under very heavy sedation. If all went well they'd close up Tuesday. All went well . He was closed up and they woke him up Wednesday.
He did great He was walking and talking. On Friday the falls started. He fell passed out and needed four stitches is his head. They did a CT of his belly and everything was fine He was put on bed rest the rest of the day. Saturday was the same minus stitches. More tests were ordered. Hours later a MRI discovered that he has two 80-90 percent blocked high corotids at his skull base and at some point those vessels had gotten holes them and formed 2cm( big) psuedoanuerisms. And at some point he had a very small stroke. Which a warning of a bigger one to come vascular was called They are in a very tricky spot and located on a curve so stents weren't possible vascular can't fix it. Nuero was called. They too said they cant that hospital doesn't have the specialist for it. He was put on platelet therapy and blood thinners. U of M and Henry Ford were contacted. Meanwhile a blockage of scar tissue formed in his intestine and the puking started. A suction tube was placed in his nose to his belly and he was taken off all liquids just fed through IV. The belly cleared three days later and he was back on liquids and the tube was out. We were still waiting on a response for a transfer
We got that Henry Ford would take him on the 17th as soon as they had a bed. On the 19th U of M responded and we were going in the morning. Then Henry Ford called and was taking him that night. Relief was in sight. Right before Henry Ford got there he started passing blood. And passed out again. He was rushed to Henry Ford where he passed a lot of blood from his colon. He was given a transfusion but holding steady. At 6 am I was called and told to get there asap. He had lost a liter of blood and had had several more transfusions and a breathing tube was put in and he was under heavy sedation. They were going to scope and find the bleed. While we were sitting in the waiting room a stroke warning was called for his room . His left side had weakened. A brain scan showed no active stroke or bleeding but part of his right side brain was odd looking.
He pulled trough yet again. It was discovered he had an ulcer at the incision site and some small leakage. A drain tube was placed. The bleeding had stopped. His left side regained strength and he was stable.
Nuero is coming up with a game plan to get in there and try and clear the blockages. But it's tricky because of the location but something has to be done as soon as he's stable enough. They are checking his brain every hour for bleeds or stroke. If neuro can't get in there he will be on blood thinners and platelets in hopes to clear it out that way. We are praying nothing breaks off or bursts and are no more setbacks. Either way recovery is going to be long
We're all praying this is taken care of soon and a Christmas miracle happens. We definitely need some good news . Jason is a great man. He made it this far. He's stubborn He's a fighter. He's a wonderful husband and father .Hes a welder and a very good one. He's my rock. My other half
