On New Year’s Day, our family experienced a life-changing moment when our 14-year-old grandson, Jamari Charles, was involved in an ATV accident. We first want to give all glory and thanks to God—by His grace, Jamari suffered no broken bones and no internal bleeding. However, he did sustain a head trauma that will require extensive rehabilitation and therapy.
Because of this injury, Jamari will be unable to return to school for the remainder of the school year and will instead spend this time in rehab, focusing on healing and recovery. While this journey is not one we expected, we trust that God is in control and is already working in Jamari’s life.
Jamari is a humble, gentle, and obedient young man. He has a loving spirit, and anyone who knows him knows just how special he is—truly, to know Jamari is to love him. He is passionate about football and, most importantly, he loves God. Our family stands firmly on our faith, believing that the same God who protected Jamari in the accident will also carry him through rehabilitation and restore him fully.
As medical bills, therapy, and rehabilitation costs continue to grow, we are asking for help during this challenging time. Whether you are able to give, pray, or share this fundraiser, every act of support is a blessing. Your kindness will help lift a financial burden from our family and allow us to focus on Jamari’s healing.
We believe in the power of prayer and trust that God will complete the work He has started in Jamari’s life. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support as we walk this journey by faith.
