Hello, we are Tyler (son), Madyson (daughter-in-law), Taylor (daughter), and Cody (son-in-law) of Jack Moon.

As some of you know, Jack was in a traumatic bicycle accident on July 10th. He was airlifted from Emerald Isle, NC, to ECU Health Medical Center, where they found that he broke his neck in several places and suffered a severe spinal cord injury resulting in paralysis from chest down. Jack went through extensive surgery to repair the broken bones in his spine, including spinal fusion. With the injury, he suffered a severe spinal cord injury that has resulted in paralysis from the chest down.

God is present, powerful, and evident in each of Jack’s miraculous victories while in ICU. We believe with the power of prayer and support from his friends and family that Jack will continue to make improvements in high hopes to regain full function and receive full healing, being able to walk again.

We are in the process of getting him accepted into the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA, for aggressive and intense rehabilitation once he is medically cleared to leave ECU.

Monica, his beloved wife, has stood by his side and will continue to be with him full-time throughout transport and the duration of his stay both at ECU and the Shepard Center.

In this troubled time, we ask for prayers and support for Jack and Monica as they begin this long journey and we pray for healing in Jesus’ name.
