I'm writing on behalf of my wonderful niece Tori and her delightful husband Isaac Russell (of sunny Wisconsin). Isaac and Tori have had an amazing story of God's grace and love in their own lives. They love the Lord with all their hearts and each other-God blessed them with the desire of their hearts and they were going to celebrate their 2nd anniversary this coming summer. Together, they have blessed their church, family, neighbors and everyone they meet with their overwhelming joy and kindness.
However, life took a turn when they were home late Wednesday night and Isaac suddenly stopped breathing and collapsed on the floor. Tori promptly called 911 and did CPR. The paramedics came immediately (thank you!!) and rushed him to the hospital, but no brain activity was detected. He had a major rupture of blood vessels within the brain that they couldn’t explain. Isaac was transferred to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee and has been under the watchful eyes of the neurology department, and has been on a ventilator since he arrived at both hospitals. The family has been by his bedside praying for a miracle.
Isaac and Tori are very faithful managers of their finances, but don't have the medical coverage necessary for this scale of stay. If you can and are willing, we would appreciate any help you can give raising funds to cover their medical expenses. The family of Isaac and Tori have greatly appreciated the outpouring of kindness, prayers and help from people, and are so grateful that God is sovereign in all He does. Thank you!
