On behalf of the Limon-Frausto family, we ask for the support from our friends and family for Gemma Limon-Frausto.

On January 14th, Gemma was enjoying her day as a 9 year old little girl. She was hit with a basketball in the head at school and later complained of a horrible headache. As the day progressed, the pain and symptoms she was showing became alarming. From that point on....our Gemma...was not the vibrant little girl we know and our lives have been rocked. She has been non-responsive since. She was seen at MCH in Odessa, TX and the next day airlifted to Covenant Childrens Hospital in Lubbock, TX. Her parents have been at her bedside since - praying, waiting for answers from medical professionals, and holding onto any little signs of improvement.

When things looked to be going in a good direction and we celebrated the small wins, as Gemma became alittle more responsive and aware....her parents were faced with the difficult decision given by Lubbock doctors - the help and answers we needed were even further away. On January 17th, Gemma was airlifted to Cooks Children's Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas to be seen and cared for by a Pediatric Neurologist.

As Gemma continues her medical journey to recovery, we ask for most of all.....Prayers! Our family has a strong faith and we have prayed over Gemma and her parents. We ask you to join us in this! We also created a GoFundMe for Gemma and her parents as we have been told this may be a long journey for them. They are in the best care at Cooks Children's hospital, with Pediatric Neurologists running tests and monitoring her as we give her time to heal. However, the burden of the medical bills they will soon face, as well as, travel, lodging, expenses, and missing work to tend to their daughter is where we need additional help with donations.
