On October 1st, my brother, Nick, and my sister-in-law, Megan, experienced their worst nightmare as parents. Their daughter, Eden, suffered a hemorrhagic stroke, while on a cruise during their fall break. Eventually they got her to a hospital in Cancun and Eden had an emergency craniotomy to relieve the pressure from her brain. Surgery went as well as the could have hoped. She has been in a medically induced coma to keep the swelling down and give her rest. We hope to keep getting positive news as she heals!

We are asking you all to storm heaven with prayers for complete healing for Eden and strength for their family. God is at work in so many ways. We already have seen small miracles by so many people who have worked to save Eden’s life! From the crew on the ship, to the Mexican Navy, to the doctors and nurses, to all the people who are sending prayers up for healing, those sending love and those asking how they can help them! Let us never forget that all this goodness is of God. Thank you for being "the Body of Christ" for Eden and her family.
