Support for Earthquake Victims in Kunar, Afghanistan
Donation protected
My name is Umar Safi, and I currently live in airdrie, Alberta. I serve as a Peace Officer for the City of Calgary, but my roots are in Kunar, Afghanistan.
My uncle, Hakim Majidi, and I have started this GoFundMe to raise funds for the victims of the earthquake in Kunar, Afghanistan.
As many of you may have already heard in the news, a devastating earthquake has struck Afghanistan and the surrounding regions. Nearly 1,000 people have lost their lives, around 3,000 have been injured, and many are still trapped beneath the rubble of their homes.
In the mountainous regions, including my home province Kunar, Afghanistan roads are blocked, making it nearly impossible for people to reach the affected families with urgent help. Food, shelter, and medical aid are desperately needed.
Our goal is to raise $35,000, which will go directly to providing relief and support for affected families in my province. These funds will help with essentials like food, shelter, and basic necessities.
No contribution is too small, every dollar will make a difference.
Please donate what you can and share this campaign with others who may be able to help. Together, we can bring hope and relief to those who are suffering and relief to families in desperate need.
Thank you for your kindness and support,
