On Sunday , September the 22nd Corrie Beth started having serious head aches and was complaining to Anna that morning before church that her head was hurting. Within a matter of minutes she got worse and worse until Anna & Blake realized that this was not normal and they needed to take her immediately to the emergency room to be evaluated . Upon arrival they took her back and began testing to see what was the cause of her head pain - after further evaluation the Doctors told Anna & Blake that they think Corrie Beth was possibly born AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation) She immediately underwent brain surgery to release the pressure caused from the brain bleed . Today 9/23/2024 Corrie had an MRI to see if the bleeding has ceased or if it is still bleeding . She is currently under intense sedation to keep the brain from being stimulated to worsen the bleeding. The MRI today determined that she will undergo yet another brain surgery tomorrow morning (angiogram)9/24/2024 to determine what exactly they are looking at.Corrie is currently on full ventilator support and will probably be on full support for another week while doctors and surgeons work to let her little brain heal and recover from surgeries. As you can imagine this is SO scary for Anna & Blake they ask that you PLEASE PRAY for Corrie Beth that the Lord will help guide the Surgeons/Doctors during surgery that it will go smoothly and their baby can come home safely. This will be VERY COSTLY for the family with the 24/7 support she will have until doctors know more. This will be a very long road to recovery and the family asks for your PRAYERS first and FOREMOST - they would also like to thank you in advance for any donation given during this time.
