I am Melanie Willis. The Winterling/Edwards family has been a part of my life for over 10 years. I have had the pleasure of watching Corbin grow from a boy to an amazing young man during that time, while he has been an awesome role model to my own kids.
Friday night (January 30), Corbin fell ill while at the movie theater. He got up to go to the restroom and collapsed, hitting his head. After being airlifted to UC Hospital in Cincinnati, they discovered a traumatic brain injury.
At this point, there are a lot of unknowns for Corbin. While we have seen little signs over the past few days, because Corbin is a fighter, there are still a lot of unanswered questions. We have so many people praying for and rooting for him and wrapping the family in love and well wishes.
We know that his road to recovery will be an expensive one, so I am hoping to alleviate some of that burden by raising some money to help the family and Corbin in any way possible while they navigate recovery and next steps.
We will share updates as we have them and appreciate any help you are interested in giving.
Lifting Corbin, the Winterling, & Edwards family and friends up in prayer and love while Corbin comes back to us!
