As many of you have heard Cody Krause fell from a tree while working on February 19. He was taken to Grady hospital where it was discovered he broke both heels and his lower back. He is going to be out of work for at least a year and will have to relearn how to walk again. So each and every donation matters as they will all help keep Cody going in the right direction!
****Update # 2 on Cody Krause****
2/19 @ 9pm per David Chabut (Chewy)
- Cody is being taken back for another set of CT scans and more x-rays and possibly MRI on his lower half (specifically knees and hips)
- Both feet are in casts to reduce swelling before surgery on both feet/heels tomorrrow morning, 2/20.
- 10-14days after the surgery he will have another and hopefully his final surgery on both feet to finish the corrections.
- Waiting on the Results from all the scans and MRIs to hear from the spinal surgeon.
- Cody is in a ton of pain and really beat up/exhausted.
I know prayers are coming in left and right for our favorite ragin Cajun but I’m sure donations could also help. He has a long road of recovery in front of him and we really don’t know how long he will be out of work. If y’all know Cody, he has truly been turning his life around over the last couple of years and was finally on the road to success. Let’s not let him fall behind as he has worked so hard to get where he is today!
So many prayers for you my friend! May you have the best surgeons and the quickest recovery process and may you come out better on the other end of all of this!!
We love you and pray for god to keep you under his wing and lift you back up.
****Update #3 on the Cody Krause Chronicles****
2/20/26 @ 8:55am
WARNING - this Picture Hurts to see…
Cody has a bursted L4 in his back.
He now has an MRI for his spine scheduled at 10am. They are going to read them and determine surgery needs.
Once determined they are going to do both his 1st surgery on his feet and the surgery on his back all at once.
Our boy is gonna be immobile for awhile, so we are trying to keep everything as organized as possible through all the Chaos! But don’t get us wrong, WE LOVE AND NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
I love this family we have for Cody Krause ❤️
****Surgery Update**** 2/24
Back surgery went very well! X-rays show everything is exactly where they want it!
We found out Cody had a previously fractured back that he had no idea about. Cody also had a cyst on his back pressing against a nerve that was causing back pain. The cyst has been removed and the fused the broken vertebrae with the healthy one above and below.
He is scheduled to have surgery on both heels tomorrow 2/25.
