Prayers and Support for Chris Frink's Recovery

Hi Friends and Family -

First and foremost, I am asking for prayers for my son-in-law, Chris Frink. He was admitted to the hospital on Thursday night, 4/2/2026, for chest pains. The advice nurse and doctors strongly suggested he go to the Kaiser ER. My daughter, Jacquie, drove him to the ER, and to their surprise, they took him in right away, checked his blood pressure, and quickly started to assess him. They told Jacquie he was in cardiac arrest. To Jacquie and Chris's shock, he was having a heart attack at 49 years old. They then immediately transferred him to another hospital where they had the equipment to provide immediate care. That evening, they inserted a stent into his main artery to his heart. The most unusual result was that from the heart attack, a blood clot was created which split and pretty much saved his life. However, after the stent was inserted, he continued to have very strong chest pains. The cardiologist told Chris that when the blood clot split, a small piece of the clot flowed to another small artery to his heart, which has continued the pain in his chest. The doctors are trying to find the right medication to reduce the clot, but he has reacted to so many of the medications, one of which caused a seizure and another for pain caused him extreme nausea. While they are trying to find the right medication, they started physical therapy, which was just a few steps outside the hospital bed. It is going to take some time for his recovery and continued physical therapy to gain his strength back. In the meantime, I am asking again for your prayers and, if possible, temporary financial assistance to help with ongoing expenses until he is well again.

Thank you in advance for the prayers, calls, texts, and visits from friends, family, and friends who have become family over the years to Chris and Jacquie.

Love to you all, from Jacquie's mom Jennifer, dad Albert, sister Jessica, brother-in-law Jose and family
