UPDATE ON CHLOE:
Update on sweet Chloe..
Update for Chloe Driskell . This is her mom. I would like to take time and thank each and everyone for their prayers their thoughts and their donations for our family during this horrible time. A lot of people know that our daughter Chloe was in a horrible car accident on May 30th. The doctors and surgeons told us that she should not have made it out of the scene of the accident alive because her heart had ruptured on the back left side that she should have bled out there and The trauma to her head caused her to have a stroke and brain damage. But God had another plan for Chloe and kept her here with us. Chloe had open heart surgery to repair her heart for some more important surgery which saved her life. Then she had the brain swell where they removed part of her skull to reduce the swelling in her brain. Then she had a third life-saving surgery where she was bleeding from somewhere which was her spleen and they went in and stopped a bleeding she also had damage to her liver which they said would slowly heal it on its own. Then a couple days later she had to have fluid and blood drained of her belly to be exactly 4.1 liters . Then we had another surgery on her femur to repair it with an external rod. Couple days after that she had bleeding from somewhere she was losing blood it had to give her six units of blood within a 4-day span. Come to find out the bleeding was from her leg surgery they went back in and repaired it. Then after that she was not losing blood anywhere. That night she had a bad night and I decided to give her her phone to see if she could do anything at first she could just move her thumb and strow on TikTok. Then she got to figure out Snapchat and we would send out the messages for her she would take a picture and we would send it. Not a big step but a step in the right direction We were really impressed so were the doctors. Then we had hip surgery and hip surgery went well but there was a lot of pain afterwards. It took them a few days to get the pain under management. Then today we went for a swallow test and the result of that is she has to be on a thick and liquid and a select diet of food that is chewable to relearn to eat. All of these are small improvements that we are very grateful for that the good Lord has given us the opportunity to have with her. We are just grateful that she is here with us. Being said that the doctors this morning told us that we still have a 3 to 6 months long road of recovery with rehabilitation and speech because she cannot talk. she has said one or two words. She has no use of the right side of her body from the stroke. That time frame that the doctors are giving us is just for rehab then 6 to 12 months will have to work on her new normal. Which we will not know what is until we go through rehab she will have some challenges that I believe she will come over. So the next year of our life will be our new norm to make her the best that she can be. I've had multiple people reach out to me asking how they can help. I don't do venmo or cash app. but my sister who made this gofundme does Venmo and PayPal if your not comfortable donating here. we just want to thank you personally. Because we are greatly appreciated in everything that everyone's doing for us. I am overwhelmed with love , the kindness , the prayers and the consideration that people have for my daughter and my family I'm just amazed. Once again thank you for all the prayers because they are working like the doctor said we are taking baby steps everyday there's a little bit different that she's doing which is a good sign. So if you don't mind what we're asking for is prayers if those little signs keep on coming to show us that Chloe will pull out of this. I praise the Lord that she has come this far and I ask him to keep God in us in the right way for her improvements even if they are little ones. They are still steps forward. From my family to yours thank you and we love each and everyone. ♥️
On 5/30/2026 my niece Chloe Driskell was in a tragic car accident. She has already went through extensive life saving surgeries and has many more to come. Any donation will be appreciated and if you cannot donate please continue to pray. This will be to help cover gas, food, and medical bills due to being off work for several months.
