At 85 years old, restaurant worker Carol Stewart has a brain bleed and is in the ICU
I would like to help while she is out of work, so I thought maybe this might help relieve any pressure or burden from her, while also getting more prayers coming in!
She was sick and feeling weak earlier this week, but she fell and hit her head. She is now in the ICU with a brain bleed! She needs all of the prayers she can get. And if you can afford to donate, every dollar is a blessing to her, and I know she would never ask for it herself. If you can't afford to donate, we definitely understand and hope you can share her post or add her to your prayer list.
Carol has worked at the Wendy's in Florence, AL for over 13 years. At 85, she works full time, 5 days a week, and never misses work unless it is absolutely impossible to make it. She keeps everyone in line while keeping her dry sense of humor, and customers know exactly what they will get when she is serving them. She loves telling us about her dog, 'Toby Keith' and is quick and witty!
Customers who frequent this location consistently comment on how great she is! She calls them by name, she has inspired many others by working at her age (20 years after most have retired), and they talk about how wonderful she is and what a bright light she is in their day!
She is, in turn, super protective over "her customers" and we are protective over her!
With the cost of living going up as it has, she needs all of the support she can get while she is in the hospital and missing work. She likes to tell you that she keeps working so much because she doesn't want to just stay at home and get weak. Or "if you don't use it, you will lose it." But she definitely is getting to an age where she may need to slow down a bit and recover!
Please share her post and if you can, please keep her in your prayers as we all hope and pray for her healing! Any donations will go to Carol to help with loss of income and covering all of her bills (rent, utilities, cable, phone, car payment, insurance, loan payment, etc.), plus medical costs.
Thanks so much! Merry Christmas!
