Hi, my name is Lea. My son Camden (Cam) was born with a heart defect, DORV. He has undergone three open-heart surgeries beginning at the age of 6 months.

Recently, Cam had a concerning echo and had to wear a heart holster. The holster picked up multiple episodes of heart block. We are being admitted on Tuesday, March 3rd, and having a pacemaker put in on March 4th. Due to his recent surgeries and having a Fontan, this will require a mid-open heart surgery. We will be hospitalized for 4-7 days depending on his recovery.

As hard as it is to ask, I am reaching out asking for help as we plan for this hospital stay and for our other 4 children at home.
