Prayers and Support for Baby Wells
Donation protected
Our dear friends, Dan & Juliet Squire, have been faced with immense difficulty over the last week. Their 2 month old, Wells, was admitted to the hospital about a week ago for RSV and was intubated 48 hours ago. He has been fighting for his life, while the Squires go back and forth to care for him and their oldest, Mia, who is also sick at home. If all things go "according to plan," Wells will still be in the hospital for at least another week. The weight of this has felt heavy, and we continue to remind ourselves that we serve a big, amazing, and powerful God, but it doesn't make the road they are walking always feel easy. Would you pray for them?
If you feel led to give, or prepare a meal, more details can be found below from Juliet:
"Our sweet Wells has been fighting in the PICU after coming down with RSV.
He is currently intubated and sedated and fighting like crazy.
While Wells is receiving the best care possible in the PICU, the road ahead remains unclear.
We are unsure what the next days, weeks, and months look like.
There will undoubtedly be significant costs to Wells’ extended hospital stay, ongoing treatments, outpatient services and the everyday expenses of life, like childcare.
We are so thankful for the support: prayers, meals, coffees, and words of encouragement. We couldn’t do this without the amazing people around us."
