Hello friends and family, as some of you know my dear, sweet Godson – Teddy Sagehorn - experienced a cardiac event of unknow origin when he was 5 weeks old. Because his brain didn’t receive oxygen for a critical period of time, the systems that keep his body functioning automatically were damaged. His parents, Elizabeth and Derek, have been by his side in the PICU since the event occurred on January 9th.

While the Sagehorns have the most AMAZING network of family and friends to help with the day-to-day, we want to make sure that financial burdens are not something that they need to think about as they transition to the next stage of this journey. Teddy will be transferred to a local home for comfort care. While we wait for God’s will regarding Teddy’s future and time on earth, we ask you to continue to pray for this sweet boy and his family.

A little bit about Teddy, and how he should be seen in our minds and hearts. Teddy is the youngest of three brothers. George and Peter’s love for their brother is top tier! They are the most caring and loving older brothers, spending most of their time arguing over who will hold Teddy or help mom in any chore related to his care. He LOVES Sea Shanties, cuddles with mom, and silly books like The Gruffalo. He is a fighter, and can do tummy time lifts like a pro! When you see the color blue, think of Teddy.
