Hi everyone,
My best friend, Samantha, and her husband, Tanner, were expecting their first child—a precious baby boy due in July 2026. Everything was going well with the pregnancy until Friday, March 27th, when Sami began experiencing contractions. She quickly headed to the Emergency Room where doctors confirmed she was in active labor. She was then rushed to the Missouri University Hospital.
Despite the medical team's best efforts to stop labor, the contractions just kept coming. After 19 long hours of hard labor, Sami was rushed back for an emergency C-section. Baby Stetson made his early arrival at 9:03 p.m. on Saturday. He weighed in at 2 lbs 7 oz and measured 15 inches long. Stetson is currently in the NICU and faces a long road ahead, but he is a brave little fighter! #StetsonStrong
First and foremost, please keep baby Stetson, Sami, and Tanner in your thoughts and prayers.
With Stetson expected to be in the NICU for several months, Sami and Tanner are facing significant, unexpected expenses. These include lost wages, travel costs for daily trips to the hospital, and mounting medical bills. If you are able to make a donation to help relieve some of this financial burden, it would be deeply appreciated. No amount is too small, and every contribution makes a meaningful difference.
Thank you so much for reading Stetson’s story. Your support, prayers, and generosity mean the world to us all.
#StetsonStrong
