On Friday, July 11th, our sweet Sebastian was admitted to the hospital. In the days that followed, his condition became critical, and on Wednesday, July 16th, he was transferred to the Pediatric ICU for specialized care. Due to the complexity of his illness, he was later moved to Phoenix Children’s Hospital once he was stable.

Throughout this unimaginable journey, your prayers and support helped keep us afloat—especially Marlisse and Ben. However, despite the outpouring of love, support, and countless prayers, our beloved Sebastian passed away on August 1st. We are shattered. We don’t know how to live in a world without him, and the weight of this grief is unbearable. Your continued love, prayers, and support are the only things holding us up—and for that, we are endlessly grateful.

We are asking, first and foremost, for your prayers—for strength, healing, and comfort during this incredibly difficult time. We also humbly ask for any financial support you’re able to give to help my sister Marlisse and brother-in-law Ben as they navigate the overwhelming medical expenses, time away from work, and the heartbreak of this loss.

We take comfort in knowing that Sebastian is now with his Tata Ticho and Tata Miguel. His time on earth was far too short, but his impact will last forever. We love you so much Sebas.
