What began as a routine 20-week anatomy scan, Hannah and Craig received news parents never anticipate. During the appointment, doctors discovered unexpected concerns about their baby boy’s development.

After further evaluation at Good Samaritan’s Perinatal Unit, there was a glimmer of hope – that their sweet boy would have a future – but the road ahead would be a journey, with lots of tests and much needed prayers. Hannah and Craig learned that Baby Matthew has two brain abnormalities, a heart defect, and an incredibly rare chromosomal difference.

Through every appointment, every tear, and in the waiting moments, they've asked for one thing - prayer. They continue to invite everyone to pray daily at 1:18pm - praying for complete and miraculous restoration of Matthew’s heart and brain, because we serve a good God who has the final word over Matthew’s life.

Hannah is currently under the care and will deliver with a dedicated team at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, where every test, consultation, and specialized treatment is vital - and costly.
