Sweet friends and family, my neice and her husband — Caroline and Osmar Diaz — need your prayers for their sweet 3-month old Clancy. Last Tuesday morning, 5/4/26, he had an episode at their house. They rushed him to the ER and after several hours of testing they found a mass in his brain. Caroline and Clancy were life-flighted to Children’s Medical Center in Dallas late Tuesday night. On Thursday they decided it was a dural arteriovenous fistula. He was slightly anemic, so they spent the weekend getting him prepared for surgery with fluids and blood. This morning the neurosurgeon was able to take care of one side of the malformation but it was rather large so they’ve decided to let him recoup this week and then go in again next week and take care of the other side. They’ve been in the hospital for almost a week and will have to be there at least one more, with a bunch of testing and imaging and a few operations. Caroline and Osmar haven’t left Clancy’s side and need our prayers and any help you feel called to give. Thank you so much for your care and support!
