Hi, I’m CJ, Azriel’s aunt. My sister’s precious baby Azriel was born prematurely and has been in the NICU at Chong Hua Hospital for almost two months now. He came into the world weighing only 1,480 grams (3 lbs, 4 oz) and was delivered via emergency cesarean section due to breech presentation. Despite his tiny size, Azriel has shown incredible strength.

His current working diagnosis includes:

• Low Birthweight

• Severe Respiratory Distress Syndrome

• Congenital Heart Disease (Patent Ductus Arteriosus)

• Live Preterm Male Neonate (31 weeks gestation, Apgar Score 7,8)

Azriel continues to be closely monitored , and his recovery is ongoing. The medical costs over the past two months have placed a heavy burden on our family now almost 1 million pesos, and we’re reaching out for help to cover his hospital bills and ongoing care.
