On Monday, December 8th, I received a call at work that my baby wasn't breathing and was being rushed to the hospital. When I arrived at the emergency room, they had already started running tests on her, but she was alert and seemed to be her normal self. About 45 minutes later, in my arms, she went limp, her little eyes rolling back and her face turning blue. She went on to have 2 more episodes that night.

Fast forward to Tuesday, December 9th, after all the blood work and tests, it was determined that Ava has epilepsy. It's going to be a long road of trying to figure out what medications and treatment plan are going to work best for her little body. Mommy and daddy would like to be able to stay by her side during this trying time, so we are asking for help from our family and friends to make that possible.
