My name is Kristen Robinette, and along with Cody Syrocki, I am a co-owner of Flights of Fancy Restaurant in Waterford, Michigan.
Today, we are asking for prayers and support for someone who means so much to our restaurant family and our community — our beloved server, mother of 2 young kids, family, friend & so much more, Amy.
On Saturday, February 21, 2026, Amy was involved in a tragic car accident that has left her fighting for her life. She sustained multiple broken ribs, suffered severe blood loss, underwent emergency surgery including a splenectomy, and remains on a ventilator as she continues to battle through this devastating trauma.
Amy is more than an employee — she is family. If you’ve ever dined at Flights of Fancy, chances are she has greeted you with her warm smile, kind heart, and genuine care. She has a special way of making everyone feel welcomed, remembered, and valued. She shows up for others every single day — and now she needs all of us to show up for her.
First and foremost, we ask for prayers. Please pray that Amy pulls through this horrific accident and that her body finds the strength it needs to heal.
As you can imagine, the medical expenses resulting from this sudden tragedy will be overwhelming. Any funds you are able to contribute will go directly toward her hospital stay, recovery, and supporting her family during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation — no matter the amount — truly makes a difference.
If you are unable to give financially, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Amy and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
We will continue to provide updates as we learn more about her condition.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your generosity, compassion, and support during this unimaginable time.
With gratitude,
Kristen & Cody
