We are writing to ask for your support and healing prayers for our beautiful little girl, Amelia.
Our family received recent devastating news. Amelia requires a bone marrow transplant at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville due to a rare disease she has called Diamond Blackfan Anemia. This process will involve a midline, chemotherapy, and an inpatient hospital stay of two months, followed by several months of local outpatient care to monitor her recovery and prevent infections. This life-saving procedure is necessary for Amelia to have a healthy future, but it means we must move out of our home which is two hours away from Nashville and put our lives in storage to be by her side 24/7 for the next several months.
At just 11 years old, Amelia is facing an incredibly difficult journey. Once they confirm a match as her donor, Amelia & I will be traveling to stay at Vanderbilt. Amelia is so strong; she has no idea how proud we are of her.
We are putting this in God's hands, praying for a smooth journey for Amelia so she can live a long & healthy life. We are asking for serious prayers to help Amelia through this hard time. If you would like to donate any amount to help our family navigate this long and difficult process, we are so appreciative as this will be costly.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers and support.
