Our family is asking for prayers and support for Alyce Doiga, who is currently in critical condition after suffering a severe brain injury.

This all began when she suffered a serious brain event caused by an arteriovenous malformation (AVM), which is an abnormal connection of blood vessels in the brain. She underwent an emergency procedure to treat this condition, and she is now in critical condition as her body and brain recover. She is currently in a coma. Doctors have explained that while she has brain activity, she has a long road ahead. We are taking this one moment at a time, holding onto every small sign of progress and continuing to hope and pray for healing.

In the past few days, there have been small but encouraging moments. While these responses are not yet consistent they have given our family hope during an incredibly difficult time.

Alyce is a deeply loved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and neighbor. She is kind, strong, and has always shown up physically, emotionally and spiritually for the people she loves. Now, we are surrounding her with that same love as she fights to recover.

Our main focus is being by her side, supporting her, and trusting in God through this process.

We are creating this fundraiser to help lift the weight of potential medical expenses that come with a crisis like this. The funds will go toward:

• Medical expenses and hospital care

• Potential rehabilitation and long-term care needs

• Other unexpected expenses during this time
