Hello friends and family,
Thank you for visiting our page. We are asking for support and prayers for Alejandro Horta.
Alejandro "Alex" Horta is a 33 year old father of 4 who recently suffered from a grand mal seizure and was diagnosed with an Oligodendroglioma grade 2 brain tumor which is a rare tumor.
He is required to have additional testing, brain surgury and extensive rehabilitation all of which will require him to be out of work 6 months or more. The neurosurgeon will work to remove as much of the tumor as possible without affecting healthy brain tissue however in most cases additional treatment like chemotherapy or radiation will be required after surgery if tumor cells remain or if there's an increased risk the tumor will recur. At this point the out of pocket medical expenses are piling up for him and his family.
His wonderful fiancé, Julia and young children have been taking care of him since his diagnosis as he cannot be left alone in his condition. Alex and his family have a long road to recovery but together with family and friends, can get through this.
Please consider donating toward medical expenses and feel free to share with anyone interested in donating. Any amount is truly appreciated. We realize many have been financially impacted by COVID-19, and even if you cannot support this cause financially, we would love for you to help spread the word and share on social media. Every little bit counts and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
"Be an anchor to the storm and give each other wings."
Sincerely,
The Family of Alejandro "Alex" Horta
