As many of you know, my daughters were in a horrific car accident on Sunday June 14th, that took the life of my 6 month old grandson. My daughters have extensive injuries and a long road of recovery ahead of them. Alaina has multiple traumatic brain injuries as well as broken bones all throughout her body. Dawnita is suffering multiple internal injuries, a broken pelvis on both front and back, as well as glass in her lungs. Surgeries have been performed on both of my daughters, but because of Alaina’s cranial swelling and Dawnita’s oxygen levels fluctuating, the rest of the needed surgeries have been postponed. Due to the different factors in their injuries, they are at separate hospitals. Alaina is in flint ICU at hurley, and Dawnita is in Ann arbor BICU at University of Michigan. While they are still sedated and in severe critical condition, I have faith god will heal them.

Any donations to help with gas to travel between hospitals, hotel stays to be near them, and for meals while i’m there, would be a true blessing to us. Our hearts are broken and we’re utterly devastated at the outcome of this accident.
