Prayers and Positivity for Dave Murphy

On Sunday, July 17, the unexpected happened as Dave Murphy had a major medical issue, resulting in his admission to Tufts Medical Center in Boston, where he is today. As you can imagine, this has been a shock to his family and those close to him.

Dave is a beloved PE teacher at Medway High School, and his wife, Beth, is a cherished PE teacher at the Thoreau School in Concord. Their two daughters graduated from CCHS and the entire family has had a tremendous impact on our community. Dave was a coach for many of the girl's sports teams. We can give back to the Murphy family by getting Dave the best help available.

Their first and most important request is that we all provide prayer and positivity for Dave as he has a long road to recovery. Dave is a true fighter, and we can help him by sending all our positive thoughts and prayers.

Another way to help is by contributing to expenses that will no doubt begin to grow. Dave is fighting so hard, and his girls want him to get and know he deserves the very best care. As the family’s attention continues to be focused on supporting Dave, we can help alleviate the financial burden in this unpredictable time. If, for some reason, the funds collected through this site are not used, they will be donated to a non-profit.

The Murphys are so grateful for the support they have been receiving from the community. They also respectfully ask that friends and family help to reduce distractions from their support of Dave by contacting one of us with questions or messages rather than calling/texting them directly at this time. We will provide updates as often as possible. Your love, support, and understanding are incredibly appreciated.
