Kodi, my handsome nephew, could truly use your support during this difficult time. As he faces mounting medical bills and a long road of recovery away from work, we ask for prayers, kindness, and any help you may be able to give for him, his wife, and their three amazing children.

Kodi is a devoted husband, an incredible father, and one of the hardest-working men you could know. He has always done everything he can to provide for and care for his family. Now, during this challenging season, it is our turn as family, friends, and community to come together and lift them up with love, compassion, and support.

Early morning, Saturday the 9th, Kodi was found to be unresponsive. He had aspirated in the night.

He was taken by ambulance to Clarinda ER, then Lifeflighted to Bergan Mercy ICU.

He has severe pneumonia with a lot of fluid in his lungs and a kidney injury.

His CT and heart scans are clear, but he continues to be intubated and fully supported.

He has responded infrequently to some verbal commands, but is very agitated and confused when sedation starts to wane. He does not recognize voices or people.

He needs prayers and positivity for healing.

The kids, Jena and all family and friends can use prayers as well.
