What began as a medical emergency for Rose has now become a long and difficult NICU journey for her daughter. Baby Amara Jane was born on December 27, 2025, at just 24 weeks gestation, weighing only 400 grams. She is currently in the NICU, where she will remain for an extended period of time.
How we got here:
What began as a life-threatening battle with severe preeclampsia led to the early delivery of Baby Amara Jane. Doctors worked to keep Rose and her baby safe for as long as possible, but ultimately Amara was born extremely premature. This journey has been filled with uncertainty, fear, and faith—and now continues day by day in the NICU as Amara fights to grow stronger.
Hi, my name is Allie, and I’m raising funds to support my dear friend Rose and her family as they navigate an unexpected and devastating medical journey surrounding the premature birth of her daughter.
At just 23 weeks pregnant, Rose was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia, a life-threatening pregnancy complication. Despite close monitoring, her condition progressed rapidly and required an emergency early delivery to protect her life. Baby Amara Jane was born extremely premature and is now fighting day by day in the NICU, where she is expected to remain for a long and uncertain journey.
Because of this sudden medical emergency:
• Rose was forced to stop working immediately
• She has endured prolonged hospitalization and recovery
• Baby Amara faces an extended NICU stay with ongoing medical needs
• Medical bills, travel, meals, and everyday living expenses continue—without Rose’s normal income
This all happened without warning. One day, Rose was planning for the months ahead. The next, she was facing decisions no parent should ever have to make and learning to live moment by moment.
⭐️ How Your Support Will Help ⭐️
Funds raised will go directly toward:
• Lost income while Rose is unable to work
• Medical and hospital expenses not fully covered by insurance
• Ongoing NICU-related costs for Baby Amara
• Transportation, meals, and daily necessities during long hospital days
• Support during recovery so Rose can focus on healing and being present for her child
Prayer Requests
More than anything, we are asking for continued prayers as Rose and Baby Amara face this long and unknown journey.
Please pray for:
• Healing and protection over Rose’s body
• Strength, peace, and courage for each day ahead
• Wisdom and steady hands for Amara’s NICU team
• Growth, resilience, and protection for Baby Amara
• Endurance and hope for the days and months to come
• God’s provision for every physical, emotional, and financial need
Standing in Faith Together
“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.” — Psalm 56:3
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” — Exodus 14:14
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1
We are trusting God not only for this moment, but for the entire journey ahead — through waiting, delivery, recovery, and a long NICU stay.
If you feel led to give, any amount would be a blessing. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and lifting Rose and baby Amara up in prayer.
Thank you for being the hands, feet, and heart of Christ during one of the hardest seasons of Rose’s life.
