Prayers and Donations for Wes's Recovery

Donation protected
Let’s help this mama out! The last thing she needs is to be worried about bills. If it’s medical bills or basic bills. Melanie has always been a hard working woman and does nothing but provide for her kids. All donations are welcomed. Just a little relief when they return home. Have faith and praying for Wes!

Oh my word! There are no words for how I am feeling right now with the amount of messages I have received!

I feel like with so many messages and posts about Wes I should take a few minutes to update everyone. It is now 3:00am and everyone that came to the hospital has now gone home. Wes is finally asleep. He is alert but is having a lot of head pain which is to be expected.

This video is of Wes earlier trying to put on a brave face to cheer up Evan.

At around 9:35pm, during our football game tonight Wes took a direct hit to the head. We are thinking there were at least 3 hits and the last one took him out.

We had an amazing EMS crew that I am forever thankful for! Wes got a police escort out of the stadium to the road then went the rest of the way with lights and sirens all the way to Phoebe Main and was so out of it he didn’t even know.

He had a CT at 11:25pm and about 1:00am we were informed the CT determined he has a brain bleed.

Due to his age and the severity of his injury he will be flown to Atlanta for further testing and monitoring.

The soonest an EMS company could transport him is 7pm Saturday night. A helicopter transporting him isn’t possible due to the weather.

The plan is for a straight wing air craft to land at the airport in Albany, our same EMS crew will pick them up and bring them to Phoebe to get Wes, then take us back to the airport to load the plane and head to CHOA Egleston.
We are praying the crew of the aircraft will let me ride with him.

I can’t single anyone out for fear of leaving someone out but I am so thankful for those that stepped into action to help my baby!
Thank you to those that stepped in to help me. I definitely had tunnel vision and I’m not quite sure how I acted or what I said other than a few things I’ve been told.
Thank you to those that helped Evan! My poor baby was so upset and worried for his brother!
Thank you to those that helped my parents and Cassie.

Most of all thank you all for your prayers! We are definitely feeling them and above all that’s all we have is our faith and trust that our good Lord will bring Wes through this!
