Celebration of Life for Olivia Rodgers

On Saturday, June 17, one of the most unimaginable accidents a parent would ever have to endure occurred. Their daughter, Olivia, who is 3 1/2, has been at UC Davis since that day fighting for her life. Her parents, Meghan and Jimmy, and oldest daughter, Emma (9), have received tremendous outpours of prayers, blessings, and hope from their family, friends, our community and even beyond. The willingness and desire to help their family in this difficult time has meant more to them than most can ever imagine. During this time, not only are they struggling with emotional and physical exhaustion, but as one can imagine the financial difficulties in a time like this add up quickly. Not only are both Meghan and Jimmy having to take time off work, but medical bills, housing and food, gas to and from UC Davis and other foreseen expenses add up all too quickly. At this time, prayers and hope is what is needed most for sweet Olivia. But if you are willing and able to donate for other expenses, every dollar counts and gives Olivia's family that tiny bit of relief in this long and difficult road ahead.
