Lux Smith, a 14-year old freshman at Ruston High, collapsed at football practice on Monday, June 1. He was taken via ambulance to Northern Louisiana Medical Center where they confirmed he had suffered a heat stroke. He was air lifted to St. Mary's in Shreveport that same day and then transferred to another hospital in Shreveport to undergo dialysis. His family is requesting he be transferred to Children's Hospital in Little Rock and currently awaiting that transfer.
Please consider donating to help offset the cost of medical expenses as well as the practical expenses of time off work, travel back and forth, lodging while away from home, meals while at the hospital, etc. Any amount will go a long way to help ease the burden for the Smith/Fuglaar family, and please keep praying!
Thank you!
