We Love You Minky Stinky!!!!!

MyChelle Garrett (Minky) has gone to heaven to be with our father. She was born with a very rare syndrome called Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome and was recently diagnosed with cancer. Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome is a rare genetic disorder characterized by intellectual disability and developmental abnormalities, often caused by germ-line mutations in the CREBBP gene. Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome patients have an increased risk of cancers, including rare instances of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. These cases often associated with treatment resistance. She wasn’t supposed to live past 4 years old, she would have been 34 years old on the 23rd of March. Our family was told she would never walk, talk, or even eat on her own. She defied all the odds against her, even graduating high school!! (Go Racers) She was fighter. MyChelle was the life of every party. We ask for all the prayers and love for her, her mother, grandmother and siblings.
