On December 21, 2025, at approximately 8:00 p.m., a 2016 Ram truck traveling southbound on Ho‘owili Road crossed the centerline and struck three pedestrians walking on the northbound shoulder. Joshua (JY) Yell, his wife Wendy, and their youngest son were struck and severely injured and are currently in the ICU.

JY is a lineman on the island of Kauai and won’t be able to return to work for quite some time. We ask that you help any way you can and pray for a speedy recovery for him and his family.
