Dear Family and Friends,
We are reaching out to ask for your prayers, love, and support during this incredibly difficult time for the De Los Santos and Villanueva families.
my love bug, Kinsley Villanueva, was admitted to the ICU three days ago. Since then, she has been intubated due to dangerously high blood pressure. She has also developed sepsis from an infection, and the doctors are still working tirelessly to determine both the cause and the exact type of infection.
In just a few days, they’ve run nearly every test imaginable—but still, no definitive diagnosis. New tests were taken today (6/27/25), but the results won’t be back for another three days, and even then, they might not provide answers. In the meantime, medical bills continue to grow quickly and heavily.
Kinsley’s mom, Madison De Los Santos, has not left her daughter’s side. Money sent will help take stress off of Madison by providing help with parking garage fees, managing food costs for Madison to eat while at the hospital, and with helping her face the full weight of mounting expenses from medical bills—all while being out of work. Madison also had to cancel her own surgery which would have benefited Madison De Los Santos quality of life, this surgery was scheduled for the day Kinsley was admitted, so she could be completely present for her daughter during this critical time.
While we remain hopeful that Kinsley’s ICU stay will be short, the truth is, with no diagnosis yet, the road ahead is still uncertain.
If you’re able, we kindly ask for:
Your prayers for Kinsley’s healing and strength for Madison, family, friends, and everyone holding her up.
Your emotional support as we navigate the days ahead.
Any financial help to ease the burden on Madison during this overwhelming and heartbreaking time.
Lastly, family and friends have asked about getting kinsley gifts and cards for her to wake up too. if you would like to participate please reach out to me and I’ll make sure the gifts get to kinsley!
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us. Every bit of support, love, and prayer means the world.
With love,
Trinity Woodard
Kinsley has an update‼️
From Madison~ Our girl has made a huge recovery despite all her obstacles and almost losing her! She will require various outpatient therapies for a while to help her get back to normal. Originally, she was expected to be home for 2 months and basically in a bubble but she has made huge progress and continue care with outpatient therapies. She will be leaving the hospital without a diagnosis. They are pretty confident that she had contracted Typhus but was tested too early to receive a positive result. We will come back at the end of this month to test her for Typhus to see if that will then give us a positive. Although we are leaving without a diagnosis now, we are very confident and satisfied with the amount of testing that all her teams and providers did. They were able to rule out everything under the sun but infectious disease related such as Typhus. We will just have to get tested again for that at the end of the month.
Thank you to all our amazing friends, family, and even people who we don’t know that have prayed, donated, supported, and helped us during this time. We feel beyond blessed and loved for all of it. I am again reminded how amazing my husband is and how great of a father he is to our kids. He’s been my rock and has been going back and forth to keep our family functioning and together while I’ve been here with Kinsley.
We will be doing one more fundraiser to help with covering the rest of her medical bills and costs for her therapies and appointments for the next two months. The details are below if you’d like to come out and support that way.
KINSLEYS most RECENT update : Kinsley has been making steady progress, even as she continues to face some challenges. Every day brings small but meaningful improvements. She will be undergoing 12 weeks of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and counseling to support her full recovery. At the end of the month, we have an important appointment with neurology and will be testing for Typhus antibodies in hopes of receiving a confirmed diagnosis.
She is getting the care she needs, and we are praying for continued healing, especially with school starting next month. Your prayers and kind words have been such a source of strength to us. We serve a mighty and faithful God, and we believe her recovery is truly because of Him. All glory to God! ❤️
To our amazing friends and family, you jumped into action without hesitation, and we will never forget it. Your love and support has carried us through during this hard time.
We are deeply thankful for the incredible outpouring of support. Thank you for everything. ❤️
