Many of you have seen or heard the news of brave little Aspen Awalt . She recently was diagnosed with Leukemia.
Aspen has endured so much in her short life, from scary multiple scans and x-rays, bloodwork, a biopsy to lengthy hospital stays, and she receives chemo each week. Through it all, Aspen has a smile that's contagious and has a spirit that elevates everyone she meets. She is cunning and curious, persistent and persevering, she loves to play, read, talk, and snuggle. Her energy makes the world a better place. She is a daughter, granddaughter, niece and cousin and a friend to so many. Anyone that has ever had the privilege of meeting Aspen understands why God gave her to Tim & Shayla and their families. She is pure love, a little warrior and our hero. That's why as friends of the family we know, it can be very hard to know how to help in these type of circumstances. But this is going to be a long and difficult journey for this brave little princess so we have opened this fundraiser to help with the medical expenses, travel expenses, lodging and food for the family. We are very appreciative and forever grateful for any amount you are able to contribute for Aspen.
