Our dear friend & coworker got the news she would be a grandmother. Her beautiful daughter was about to bring a beautiful baby boy into this world. She is a beautiful and vibrant 25 year older school teacher with a heart of gold and promising future in front of her. A little over 7 months into the pregnancy, she developed Covid19 along with pneumonia. The baby’s father also tested positive. An emergency C-section had to be performed to save both mother and child. Our friends daughter’s condition worsened and she has never regained consciousness. She has now ran out of time for being on a ventilator with no progress. She will have a tracheotomy done today with hopes high for progress. Meanwhile as she is struggling to live, her beautiful son is being listed as “John Doe” since she is incoherent and can’t make decisions on his behalf. She and her fiancé were to wed in October so he too has his hands tied. Because of this situation they cannot qualify for assistance for the baby and are in dire straights due to not being able to work to care for their beautiful premature miracle son.
